Recreation Complex
The Recreation Complex is located at 180 Easton Drive and was built in 1992. The arena has spectator seating for 1800 people and is home to the Selkirk Steeler Junior A and Selkirk Fishermen Junior B hockey teams. The arena also hosts figure skating, speed skating and ringette in addition to hockey programs but it’s inclusive to all ice sports.
The Recreation Complex houses a Banquet Hall. The capacity is up to 500 people. The hall is a popular venue for socials, dinners, wedding receptions and craft sales.
The athletic fields are located on the same grounds as the Recreation Complex. There are 8 baseball/softball fields, 17 soccer fields and a football/rugby field. The ball diamonds host minor programs as well as several softball leagues. The soccer fields are various sizes to accommodate different levels of youth soccer including full-sized fields for older youth and adult leagues.
Selkirk Arena
The Selkirk Arena or the “Barn” as it’s locally known is located at 376 Jemima Street. The facility primarily hosts minor hockey, ringette and adult hockey league games.
Memorial Hall
The Memorial Hall is attached to the arena and hosts the soup kitchen as well as pickleball and meetings of all sizes.
